Praise YOU right now.

What do you need to Praise God for right now. We tend to look at circumstances that are beyond us and believe that they will bring us joy and peace. But, the whole message of Jesus is a different perspective on this world and on our lives. The grass is the greenest where we are standing as long as we are standing as Sons and Daughters of the Most High. No matter our circumstances, there is always a way to praise Him through it. then sent the Spirit to see you through

Mountains

There is a faith that moves mountains. So, where is it? Our tendency is to go up to a mountain, situation, problem, or whatever it may be that's in front of us and muster up enough guts to tell it to move in Jesus name, or we just beg Jesus to do it, and question His love for us when the thing doesn't move. Either way we're missing an element of faith that's essential. At the end of Hebrews 11, Paul says that by faith people hoped for certain things and never saw them before they moved on. You see, faith is the connecting point for our relationship to God. It's like our language. It's the way we communicate to Him, and the way we trust His communication to us. So, this fundamental element of faith is that it doesn't move. If it moves, it's not real. Faith looks like this. I see a mountain that's come up against me and needs to move, and I say to that mountain, "One of us is leaving, and it's not going to be me. I don't care if I have to die here, I'm not leaving, so you might as well give up now." Steadfastness. Perseverance. Stubborness. are all necessary parts of our attitude to the mountains in our lives. We declare God's goodness, His faithfulness, His love, and we refuse to move no matter what. Circumstances are like waves, some are good some are bad, but either way if we're living by circumstances then we'll naturally be led by them and our emotions. The other part of this whole process is that while standing firm we actually choose to worship and praise God. Even with that thing staring us down. We lift our praise above this mountain! Once we get heaven's perspective on a situation we are no longer looking up at this huge problem, we're actually looking down at it, and seeing it for what it really is, not that big and most times just a bluff from our enemy.

We live in a society, culture, and amongst religions that make everything about us, how we view things, and how we feel. We need to stop focusing on us, and our "wounds" and focus on Jesus, and the life He's offered us. No matter what you're struggling through right now, He's waiting, holding His hand out to you, saying, "Keep your eyes on me, keep your focus on me, don't look at the waves like Peter, you'll start to sink. Keep your eyes on me." And watch those mountains get tossed into the sea!

So where's my train to leave this town

where's my haven on higher ground

What's the ticket off this go round

I've had religion all my years

It never moved my mountain fears

But there's a new belief in me now

So I will lift my praise above this mountain

And plant my feet right down into solid ground

I was looking up till I got heavens view
